Pogi is a little creature that exists in the Dragon Weaver universe. This is the skinning done..building the rig now.

Here is the model as of tonight. Started this tonigh, and he should be done soon!!!

POGI is a little creature that lives in the Dragon Weaver universe. This little creature is a mystical one.

The Pogi are naturally drawn to the seed of the Malu fruit. A very ancient fruit with a special seed. When the Pogi eat this seed they can temporarily gain super speed, strength and the ability to fly.

The only problem is that the Malu fruit is deadly to any creature when the skin is broken incorrectly. When this happens the fruits natural juice becomes the most potent poison known in the universe. There have only been 4 beings in all of time that had the ability to cut this fruit correctly. maybe Hiroshi will be the fifth.

Animatic almos done!

the set is almost done for the first teaser. Hiroshi is fully rigged and being textured now as well as the ground and grass blades.

This clip is from a render from the animatic. NO TEXTURES and the background is a base. the real background is being painted now.

Base lighting, but i painted over the render to show the high concept of what im going for as a look for this teaser. I mainly want alot of atmosphere...enough to make anyone with allergies SNEEZE when they see it. haha.

the grass actually looks like tht in 3d. its sharp cut out looking. the grass is sknned and im animating it now...all hand done. Looks cool waving around.

It looks story bookish wich is EXACTLY what i going for. Hiroshis clothes are not in this render, but his land and jump of scene are already blocked in.

In this clip his hair is still in the "stretch frame" haha..should of rendered one more frame after this.

Base sound efx are already laid down in Premiere as well. Should have this coming soon teaser done soon! its just a quick clip of things to come.

Hiro Pose Test

The base Hiroshi model is completed now. The style is a supposed to be a low polygon look in my anime/comic style.

Hiroshi is only 2000 polygons and is more focused on strong silhouette. Everything in the Dragon Weaver story will follow this guideline.

The main hero HIROSHI is finally considered done. The main goal was to create a stylized character that had a toon/anime look, and had an interesting silhouette.

The look of The Dragon Weaver cartoon is a lower polygon look. Everything will have that edgey poly style to it.

His mystical backpack shrine artifact, and weapon will be done tomorrow night. Then the rigging and first animated teaser begins while "PIXEL" (Toon Sushis Color Director) begins to paint the backdrop and tests texture styles on the Hiroshi model.

Hiroshi Updated again!

The Dragon Weaver story is coming along well, and revisions and tweaks seem endless..Hiroshi just needs new hands and I am calling him done, and moving on. Creating lots of pre pro art, and will be making a "Dragon Weaver Art Book: Vol 1"

The first teaser is written out and is in the story board process. Lots of mini clips will coming soon!

Hiroshi Base Colors

Almost done with mesh testing Hiroshi on his base rig. Will be texturing soon, and then pre pro on the teaser!!!

Hiroshi update "The Dragon Weaver"

Hiroshi is finally unwrapped and tonal vaules are set. Texturing test begin today!

Hiroshi-Cloth Update.

Got his cloth smoothing groups done. New leg wraps. Took the tears out of his clothing in the mesh and will use opacity maps for them during texture process.

Hirsoshi almost done! Smoothing groups for the cloth is next, and then i will begin to rig it. Also will be modeling his Iconic mask, to hide is identity when he fights evil!!!

The mask is treated like Clark Kents glasses.....for some reason noone puts one and one together....cant wait to animated this guy!

Hiroshi Model Finished

I do believe this is about as far as i can take it, and so the texturing and rigging phase will start!
Fully animated teasers, artwork, and story coming soon!!!

Teaser coming soon! Hiroshi is almost done, some small details, fingers, and of course maps. Hiroshi will set the tone and style of all the characters in the Cartoon. Cant wait to start animating on it.

The teasers for DragonWeaver will be in 5 parts, and all in a 2d type of pencil drawing textured look...but not flat cell shaded...ive always wanted to see my drawings move on paper, and now im going to try and make that happen..

Dragon Weaver - Enters "Marusato" DESIGN

Marusato is a warrior monk who has exiled himself deep within the mystical Ashurian Forest...He has become so powerful, that he exists on the thin line between good, and evil...Marusato feels his power brew deep within his center, and how it aches to be unleashed.

His story will be told soon enough...

The Legend:

In a time long ago, it was believed that one’s chosen by the gods were able to "weave" their chi with the ancient spirits of mystical creatures, and harness the creatures power.

They were known as Spirit Weavers, and this is the legend of the greatest one of them all...The Dragon Weaver Hiroshi...

HEY ALL! Just wanted to post up the 2nd pass on the Hiroshi model...its actually in the middle of the 3rd and final pass now...making some tweaks to stay as close to the silhouette of the original design as much as possible...as we all know silhouette is everything...a cool character with a corny sil, will always look corny...esp when animated.

Hello all! The Dragon Weaver is the first story in the Warriors Legend Series. The Warriors Legend is the universe that all of the Toon Sushi cartoons will take place in.

The Warriors Legend is a collection of short stories that make up the Toon Sushi World and its fantastic legends!

The WL universe is one filled with heroes, Villains, magic, fantasy, and legendary stories!

It exists through the tellings from an old ancient being, in an old ancient temple. As his words are spoken, they are written upon mystical scrolls, and once written, they become real. His tales of great warriors, and the amaizng adventures they endure, become stories that are woven into the lives of the people in them.
